Description
Blade Guide Block
Along with blade guide rollers, belongs to the guiding mechanism of the saw blade. It’s used in machines like LT70 and larger, and its main function is to stabilize and hold down the blade while it’s moving. It presses the blade from top and bottom (in larger sawmills) allowing for more control of the blade. It’s made of high-quality steel and must be regularly checked and adjusted. The best practice is to check its condition and alignment every 8 hours of work, otherwise it may cause friction against the blade. In case its’ worn out it should be replaced with a new one.
